Last year the Governor General's Foot Guards (GGFG) inaugurated the GGFG Youth Achievement Awards as a means of giving back to the community that has supported the GGFGs so well for a century and a half. The objective of these annual awards is to encourage/incentivize deserving youth as they strive to become the model citizens of tomorrow. The GGFGs are seeking nominations/applications for four scholarships totalling $10,000 (4 x $2,500 each). The deadline for applications/nominations is Feb. 15.
