Beginning Tuesday, August 8, O-Train Line 1 has resumed with service between Tunney’s Pasture Station in the west and uOttawa Station in the east. The safe resumption of service follows the successful completion of track adjustments and safety inspections along the western portion of the network.
Service is operating with five single-car trains providing service every five minutes.
There will be no changes made to R1, R1 Express, or Para R1 service at this time.
Single-car trains are only using half the platform. Customers should board in the designated section of the platform. New floor decals have been installed at stations to guide customers to the boarding zones.
To further assist customers, OC Transpo staff are at stations to provide directions and support customers during their trip.
Service updates are being communicated across all of OC Transpo’s channels as the ongoing track infrastructure and safety work progresses.
