On December 6, from 6 to 7 pm, all Ottawa residents are invited to gather at Minto Park for a vigil marking the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. This year’s vigil will honour lives stolen by femicide. It will also demand urgent, sustained accountability from those who share our goal of ending gender-based violence, which is being widely recognized as both an epidemic and endemic threat to safety in our communities.
