The Alternate Neighbourhood Crisis Response (ANCHOR) program is expanding to Byward Market, Lowertown, Sandy Hill, Lees Towers, Vanier, and Overbrook by the end of June.
ANCHOR is a community-led, culturally sensitive and equity-centered service. It provides mental health and/or substance use crisis support and dispatches skilled crisis response workers. ANCHOR assesses the client and offers services that are safe and tailored to individual needs. ANCHOR also provides well-being checks, referrals, connections to other services, resources and information.
