Councillor Rawlson King, who serves as Council Liaison for Anti-Racism and Ethnocultural Relations Initiatives, invites Ottawa’s African, Caribbean, and Black communities to Black Futures in Focus, a virtual town hall taking place during Black History Month. This session will focus on funding opportunities, entrepreneurship supports, and resources available to help Black-led, Black-serving, and Black-focused (B3) organizations and Black entrepreneurs grow and thrive. Participants will receive practical information about grants, programs, and supports across government and community systems, with time for questions and dialogue. This town hall is intended for Black entrepreneurs, small business owners, leaders of B3 organizations, and community members interested in learning more about available opportunities.
