
Ottawa is home to a vibrant Francophone community, and French plays a vital role in shaping our cultural life. March is Francophonie Month, a time to celebrate the French language, its rich culture, and its diversity. On Wednesday, March 11, at 7 pm, come talk about the art of romance with author Sophie Laurin, who will be speaking about her literary career, including her latest release, On le dira pas à nos enfants (2025), and captivating the audience with the many twists and turns in her books. In partnership with the National Film Board, Ottawa Public Library is also celebrating the French language through a series of film screenings.
