Creating Christmas Magic - Dec. 10

The Vanier Museopark, in partnership with the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est and DeSerres, invite you to take part in the 2nd edition of "CREATING CHRISTMAS MAGIC", a family event to collect new toys, gift cards and cash donations for the children in need in Vanier. What’s to be expected: Kids and adults alike will enjoy wrapping and crafting stations, listen to festive holiday music and indulge in a delicious coffee and hot chocolate. Kids will also be able to take a picture with Santa at the Vanier Sugar Shack, which will be transformed into a giant gingerbread house for the event thanks to the vision of visual arts artist Max Black and her talented group of COOP students from the DeSerres store. With inflation on the rise, some families are struggling to feed their children and will certainly have difficulty celebrating Christmas as they would like. The toys collected at the event will be distributed to children with the help of the Vanier CSC when they deliver holiday food baskets to families in the community.
