- The contractor has now mobilized on the south side of Donald Street, east of North River Road.
- The next stage of the construction is a temporary relocation of a streetlight. Once the streetlight has been relocated, the watermain repair work will commence.
- The required work area has been modified since the previous update, and now includes a section of the sidewalk on the south side of Donald Street. A pedestrian detour is in place.
- It has been identified that a second tree in the right-of-way needs to be removed due to its proximity to the section of watermain being replaced. City Forestry staff plan to replace this tree in 2024.
- Completion of the majority of the work is anticipated before the end of 2023. The construction completion date is set for spring 2024. Landscaping reinstatement is scheduled for completion in the spring.
