- Ride in bike lanes or on the shoulder, not on sidewalks (fines apply)
- You must be 16+ to ride
- Helmets are required under 18 (encouraged for all riders)
- Use a bell or horn, and turn on your white front light and red rear light at dusk
- One rider per scooter, no passengers
- No riding on NCC pathways or in the ByWard Market
- Never ride distracted or impaired
Drivers: stay alert. Slow down, give at least 1 metre of space, and watch for vulnerable road users.
