"It's alive! ALIVE!" With those words, a movie monster was born. From the pages of Mary Shelley's classic horror story came Frankenstein to terrorize filmgoers in 1931! The Crichton Community Council presents the original film paired with its - some say - better sequel, Bride of Frankenstein for the ultimate monster mashup! (Note, some scenes may be frightening to younger children. The event is free to attend. The movie night takes place at the New Edinburgh Park Fieldhouse, 203 Stanley Avenue, on Oct. 28 at 7 pm. Remember those classic Halloween specials that used to air every year before streaming came into our lives? We do too! This Halloween night, adults and kiddos alike can take a break from trick or treating in the fieldhouse. The Crichton Community Council will be showing cartoons, movie trailers, videos and spooktacular commercials for an event the CCC calls the Scare-A-Thon.
