Hydro Ottawa is planning for construction along the Vanier Parkway in order to provide system expansion to service a new high-rise development at 320 Lees Avenue, between Mann Avenue and Chapel Crescent. The work will include trenching and installing utility holes and 650 metres of concrete-encased ducts between existing Hydro Ottawa duct structures at road crossings on Lees Avenue. On the Vanier Parkway, Hydro Ottawa is planning to trench and install approximately 15 metres of concrete-encased ducts in the boulevard between existing duct structures. The work is slated for Sept. 1 to Nov. 27, weather permitting.
