Testing on fare gates begins Monday, June 19
We’re one step closer to launching payment by credit card and mobile wallet with O-Payment!
Staff have started actively testing credit card and mobile wallet payments on fare gates at O-Train Line 1 stations. During staff testing, you may notice the Visa and Mastercard logos on fare reader screens.
For now, please continue to use your existing payment methods. Remember to tap only your card, not your wallet.
You can continue to use your credit card or mobile wallet to pay your fare at the specially marked accessible fare gate at O-Train stations.
This testing will continue until O-Payment is ready to officially launch across the entire transit system. Testing on buses is coming soon!
