The City of Ottawa is replacing the aging underground infrastructure on Oakhill Road and Corona Avenue as part of the City’s ongoing replacement of critical infrastructure. More information about the project can be found at ottawa.ca/OakhillRoadRenewal
What: Oakhill Road and Corona Avenue will be closed to through traffic. Road closure signage will be placed onsite. Local traffic access to private properties, in addition to pedestrian and cycling access, will be maintained throughout the construction period.
Why: The road closures are required to facilitate construction. The objective of this project is to rehabilitate underground and roadway infrastructure that is nearing the end of its lifespan.
When: The road closures will start on May 6 and the road will re-open at the beginning of August.
Where: Oakhill Road (between Beechwood Avenue and Acacia Avenue) and Corona Avenue (between Beechwood Avenue and Acacia Avenue).
