On March 28, Ottawa Public Health, in partnership with local Inuit organizations, is hosting the First Ottawa Inuit Community Engagement Session with Inuit with living & lived experience in mental health, substance use, food insecurity, homelessness and other areas of need. The engagement session, which is scheduled for March 28 from 10 am to 3 pm, is an opportunity to hear directly from Inuit Community Members and learn about their experiences in accessing health, mental health, addictions treatments, housing and safety in Ottawa. The First Ottawa Inuit Community Engagement Session takes place at The Rideau Community Hub located at 815 St. Laurent Boulevard in the cafeteria. Bus tickets, refreshments and lunch will be provided. Childcare assistance is also available on site.
