The Winter Trail along the Rideau River is an amazing opportunity to take advantage of the multi-use pathway year-round.
We are working to put together a team to move from the pilot phase which was in Winter 2018-2019 to make the project a sustainable reality beginning Winter 2019-2020.
This is a project led by Councillor Fleury’s office, Councillor King’s office, the Rideau Sports Centre, the Overbrook and Sandy Hill Community Associations.
We need your help!
Our needs include:
- Volunteer Coordinator
- Maintenance supervisor
- Volunteers (for grooming & trail monitoring)
- A snowmobile
- Equipment to groom (attached to snowmobile)
