Council has appointed an Interim City Manager, and the 2022-26 Governance Review report has been tabled.
At the Nov. 30 Council meeting, Council appointed the City’s Chief Financial Officer, Wendy Stephanson, as its Interim City Manager, after Steve Kanellakos announced he would be stepping down as City Manager effective Monday, Nov. 28.
The 2022-2026 Governance Review report was tabled on Nov. 30. The report recommends the Committee structure for the 2022-2026 Term of Council and includes amendments to various policies, by-laws and procedures. Council will consider and adopt the report at its next meeting, on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
