A fire impacting has impacted and displaced residents of an apartment building on Donald Street in neighbouring Beacon Hill-Cyrville Ward. Everyone is welcome to attend a community support gathering onĀ Saturday, May 11, from 10 to 11 am at Ogilvie North Park (beside the Donald St. buildings). Your presence matters, whether or not you bring a donation. Make a sign, spread the word, and show your support for our community and those affected by the fire. Support will be available on site for residents and some light refreshments for the community.
How You Can Help: The Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre will be onsite accepting cash, cheque, and gift card donations. Please do not bring any household items or clothing as there is no place to store anything at this time. You can also donate online at eorc-creo.ca/donate/ or via e-transfer to [email protected].
