A virtual town hall is scheduled for December 12 which will discuss respiratory illnesses like colds, influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and COVID-19.
With the increase in respiratory illness in our community, the Kids Come First Health Team will have health-care experts available to support parents and caregivers currently caring for children experiencing respiratory illness and those with concerns about future illnesses.
Discussion topics will include:
• Information about respiratory illnesses and the current surge
• Symptoms of respiratory illnesses and other related illnesses
• Tips to assist with caring for a sick child at home
• When to seek emergency care
• Medications
• Preventative strategies
• Reliable Resources
