The City of Ottawa has received a noise exemption application for use of a diesel heater overnight at 92 Presland Road West in the Overbrook community from Jan. 8 at 12 pm to Jan. 10 at 4 pm. A garage slab needs to be repaired and due to weather conditions, the contractor will need to winterize the garage and operate a diesel heather for 48 hours in order to cure the concrete slab.
