My office has been advised that K.C.E. Construction requires a noise exemption associated with watermain work related to construction underway at Oakhill Road and Beechwood Avenue.
Source of Noise: Construction noise (backhoe, excavator, generator, hand tools, trucks, etc.)
Where: Corner of Oakhill Road and Beechwood Avenue
When: August 26, 2024, from 10 to 11 pm (work will begin at 8 pm; exemption begins at 10 pm)
Rationale for exemption, from contractor: “The City cannot shut the watermain down during the daytime due to the high number of businesses and residents affected by the watermain work.”
Impacted residents and businesses will be notified.
