Members of the Overbrook Community Association will be joined by WILD Outside and Ottawa Tool Library volunteers for a Gardening Work Park on July 14 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on the City's right-of-way at 1 Donald Street. Meet in the tents by the beach volleyball courts. Help plant native plants and shrubs, remove invasive plants and learn about the benefits of milkweed and other native plants as well as what makes a garden pollinator- and bird-friendly. Please bring garden gloves and a reusable water bottle.
