Public Consultation Meeting - 400 Coventry Rd. development application

I hosted a public consultation meeting on Dec. 20 regarding a development application for 400 Coventry Road. 

The development proposal consists of:

  • an Official Plan Amendment (to the Secondary Plan, concerning permitted height for one of the towers)
  • zoning by-law amendment (to permit appropriate density and lot coverage for transit-oriented development)
  • proposed redevelopment of 400 Coventry Road (the southwest corner with Belfast, backing onto Highway 417), which currently has a one-storey industrial building and attached three-storey office building, with extensive surface parking and materials storage areas.
