Everyone is welcome to come snowshoe and/or bird watch on the Rideau Winter Trail near 1 Donald on World Snow Day, Jan. 21, from 12 to 3 pm, by the Adàwe Bridge and the Rideau Sports Centre at 1 Donald Street. The Ottawa Outdoor Gear Library and Bird Frienly Ottawa will be on the trail lending out snowshoes for adults and children as well as binoculars. Volunteers will be there to show you how to use the snowshoes, binoculars and help identify birds.
